Archival art print from an original watercolour illustration by Helen Magee.
Printed on beautiful quality paper which has a slight texture using pigment inks which will not fade over time. Framed in white bespoke wooden frames with archival mount board.
The La Touche Hotel is the most iconic building in Greystones and is personally very nostalgic as my parents wedding reception was held there in 1957. As children we hosted parties there, my first ever teenage job was there, my first home was opposite it! The colours of the facade in this illustration are those I remember with most fondness i.e. the 1970's La Touche, and so I have added some retro cars into my illustration along with a horse rider which you used to regularly see in Greystones in the good 'ol days! The little blonde on the bike is me :-) I try to include myself in there somewhere in these kind of illustrations. The La Touche has been dilapidated for years and is now being re-worked into apartments so hopefully the old facade will be preserved to some extent.
The print is A4 measuring 8.5" x 11.25"
Frame Size 16.5" x 13"
If you would like a different print size (e.g. A5 or A3) please don't hesitate to contact me HERE
